The emergency childcare is available from 8:30 – 4:30 by calling Shelley Hillier at 422-2000 ext 2802. If you require emergency childcare after business hours please call the duty officer at 422-200 ext 1491 or 449-0222.
If you require crisis intervention or counselling services please call the CHIMO helpline at 450-4357 or the Canadian Forces Member Assistance Program (CFMAP) at 1-800-268-7708. The Canadian Forces Members Assistance Program (CFMAP)
This is a short-term counseling service. This program offers up to five free confidential counseling sessions to any military member or family member, by approved therapists on contract with the Department of National Defence and Health Canada. This service allows you to call from anywhere in Canada, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This confidential service can provide immediate assistance over the phone or set-up and appointment with a counselor in your area. To access this service, please call 1-800-268-7708.
